James Flanders - President

Jim grew up in Charlotte, NC and went to college at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration, he started work as a Business Analyst with Dun and Bradstreet Corporation. His business degree and experience gained with D & B positioned him for a great opportunity with Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. Jim spent the next 10 years working to help grow this company as a member of their top management team.

After accomplishing many of his corporate goals, he decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business. Jim spent 3 years with a large International real estate company, and gained a wealth of knowledge about the local real estate industry and market. Jim has been in the top 10% of realtors in the city and has received The Chicago Association of Realtor's "Outstanding Sales Achievement Award".

In 2007 Jim founded Alliance Properties Chicago Inc, a concierge real estate brokerage. Alliance helps buyers and sellers from offer to closing. In 2007 Jim also opened Chicago Southport Suites, a fully furnished luxury inn, located in the heart of the Southport Corridor. Jim was one of the founding members and served as the Treasurer of the C.V.R.O.A (Chicago Vacation Rental Owner's Association).

Jim sold the building CSS was in and closed the business in 2015, after a very successful run that yielded over 100 5 Star reviews on the CSS VRBO.com website. Jim is now focused on helping buyers and sellers 100%. When Jim is not working in real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family, rock climbing, training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Brazil - 021 Headquarters, and currently holds the rank of black belt.
